ALERT 2:    Tropical System is expected to hit the response area within 36 to 48 hours.  Team begins packing, loading and securing equipment.  Team on 12 hour stand-by for response.  Final notifications and acquisitions are made.

ALERT 3:                    Team is committed to respond.  Personnel begin manning the Status Center 24 hours a day.  Team finalizes the loading and securing of all required equipment.  Computers, recorders, cameras, and radios are powered and tested in the vehicle.  Fuel cans are filled and secured.  Checklist is completed.

RESPONDING:          Team is driving to the landfall location.  Constant Contact is maintained with the status center and a base location is negotiated.   All systems are powered and rolling video is to be taken while arriving at the landfall location.

ARRIVAL:                  Team arrives at the landfall location and begins looking for a location for the base of operations.  After final base location is resolved, audio, video, and weather equipment will be deployed for the widest possible collection of data.

LANDFALL:               Team will attempt to continue sending back live weather observations, audio, and video as long as an internet connection can be maintained.  Team will attempt to document the event with the widest possible range of equipment.  Contact with the status center will be maintained as long as possible.

AFTERMATH:          Team will recover all deployed equipment and secure it.  Side and Dash cams will be set up for rolling shots.  Hand Held cameras will be readied and the team will begin documenting the aftermath.  If vehicle operation is not possible then the team will split up and cover the area on foot with handheld camera equipment.  The team will spend up to 12 hours documenting the storms aftermath.

RETURNING:             Team has completed their assignment and are returning to the Status Center.  While enroute back the team will be preparing video packages for immediate release.  Team will be adding remarks and clips to the web sites as they reach internet coverage.
